Cambios en "DecidimFest: Democracia, Tecnología y Justícia Global"
Descripción (English)
-
-
Do we want a future in which technologies are made with and from people? If so, we need to think in terms of democracy and global justice from an integrating perspective that addresses political, material and social complexity. DecidimFest is back: a key event that focuses on the dialogue between technology and democracy.
Some of the topics on this year's program are surveillance capitalism, algorithmic justice, data decolonialism or hackfeminism, from the perspective of defending global justice.
With speakers such as Anasuya Sengupta, who sheds light on marginalized voices of the Internet; the artists Ernesto Oroza and Joana Moll, who reflect on technological disobedience and climate justice respectively; Joan Donovan, expert on disinformation and the health of the Internet; or McKenzie Wark, author of reference in technology and society, whose latest book Capital is Dead has recently been translated into Spanish.
Organized by Barcelona City Council.
