    The AI Act is one of the first regulations developed on Artificial Intelligence. The European proposal classifies and regulates AI applications according to the risk they pose to citizens. How does the AI Act protect us? Does it affect us all equally? Can we really feel safe under this framework?

    Judith Membrives and Anabel Arias, members of Algorights, a collaborative network that promotes civil participation regarding AI and Human Rights, offer us an approach to the normative context and open the debate with a panel of technology and policy experts from across the country.
