Las redes sociales están cambiando. Entre el mamut de Mastodon y la mariposa de Bluesky, se dibujan grietas digitales más descentralizadas, libres y abiertas. Pero, ¿cuáles son las diferencias entre estas plataformas? ¿Es posible un futuro digital sin desinformación ni discursos de odio?

En este debate exploraremos cómo se están transformando las redes sociales y qué alternativas están ganando fuerza. Hablaremos del Fedivers, de la propuesta de Bluesky y de la construcción de un espacio donde la ciudadanía pueda relacionarse, crear vínculos y empoderarse digitalmente.

Con la participación de Marta Cambronero, periodista e investigadora experta en el comportamiento en las redes sociales; Marta Chiné, referente de la lucha vecinal y participante de El Lokal, Asociación Cultural del Raval i miembro de LaFurgo; Marcel Costa, biólogo, investigador y miembro de Anartist y co-responsable técnico de sus servicios y Patrícia Lainz, Jefa de la Unidad de Nous Formats, del Área de Comunicación de la Universidad de Barcelona. De la mano de ellos, nos adentraremos en los retos y oportunidades de este nuevo ecosistema digital.

In this debate, we will explore how social networks are transforming and what alternatives are gaining strength. We will talk about the Fediverse, the Bluesky proposal, and the creation of a space where citizens can connect, build bonds, and empower themselves digitally.

With the participation of Marta Cambronero, journalist and researcher expert in social media behavior; Marta Chiné, a key figure in grassroots activism, member of El Lokal, a Cultural Association in the Raval, and part of LaFurgo; Marcel Costa, biologist, researcher, and member of Anartist, as well as co-technical lead of its services; and Patrícia Lainz, Head of the New Formats Unit in the Communication Department of the University of Barcelona.. With their guidance, we will delve into the challenges and opportunities of this new digital ecosystem.
