Where we decide matters: Architecture of power and feminist participation

This September, In CoDe invites you to the cycle of events «Where We Decide Matters».

Participation is not neutral: physical and digital spaces determine who gets in, who is left out, and under what conditions the commons are built. With this series, we want to open a collective process to imagine and create hybrid spaces for feminist and class-based participation.

September 12, 5:30 p.m | Reconfiguring the Existing
From the urban to the common: how to transform existing spaces into places of community decision-making through ethical architecture and citizen participation.

September 19, 5:30 p.m | Imagining from Scratch
Architectures of power: if we could design new spaces for women’s political and community participation, what would they look like? A collective imagination exercise using AI and freed from inherited structures.

September 26, 5:30 p.m | Getting There Is Also Deciding
The possible city: transport, accessibility, and safety as feminist conditions that allow women to inhabit and participate in these spaces.

👥 Each event will combine a round table, participatory lab, and networking space, with architects, activists, and dissidents joining us in this process of collective reflection and action. Because architecture is also political.
