El taller és una introducció als conceptes de la poesia computacional i com materialitzar-los en un entorn de live coding. Escrivint algoritmes de cerca (amb expressions regulars) treballarem amb el collage, l’automatització, la iteració i l’aleatorietat en la poesia. Explorarem com utilitzar P5LIVE tant com a eina d’escriptura com a entorn per actuar en directe amb text. P5LIVE és un entorn col·laboratiu per fer visuals amb live coding, basat en p5.js, que s’executa en un navegador web.

The workshop is an introduction to concepts of computational poetry and how to realize them in a Live Coding environment. By writing search algorithms (with Regular Expressions) we will engage with collage, automation, iteration and randomness in poetry. We will explore how to use P5LIVE both as a writing tool and an environment for performing with text. P5LIVE is a collaborative Live Coding VJ environment for p5.js that runs in a web browser.
