Sound and Space | Resonant Architecture – Sant Andreu

What happens when a building becomes an instrument? A 360º immersive piano concert in a space that was never designed for music, exploring architecture through sound.

Architect and musician Gerard Guerra will bring the piano into dialogue with the architectural space of Canòdrom. Based on an original piece composed directly from the building’s plans, Gerard will interact live with the walls, columns and terrace ceilings, weaving sonic spaces through textures, reflections and materiality.

He will perform original compositions and improvisations developed through his research into the concept of musitecture. A unique symbiosis between sound and space, music and architecture.
