Wizz, Lihem, and Enlatina2 have very different styles, but they share a fundamental trait: using humor as a tool to explain the world through their own experiences. They explore themes such as culture shock, life in their neighborhoods, racism, and identity, transforming personal lived experiences into comedy.
Their voices offer a fresh perspective that connects with the challenges of a globalized world and a society in constant transformation. Comèdia amb accent (Comedy with an Accent) spotlights these young comedians and invites us to rethink our paradigms and shift the narrative. Comèdia amb accent grew out of Actuant amb cures (Acting with Care), a project by Reds and InteRed directed by Alba Calani (Senyor Moon).
Actuant amb cures fosters a network of organizations and collectives promoting community-based initiatives; the goal is to create positive narratives that help shift the story surrounding migrants and the concept of migration itself.
Organized by: Reds, InteRed, and Canòdrom

Show: Anti-racist Comedy with an Accent
Next, the duo featured in the documentary, Enlatina2, digital content creators whose entertainment focuses on the experiences and humor of the Latin community living in Spain, will present a preview of their upcoming show, in which they dismantle the most racist rhetoric through humor.
We will also have a monologue by Long Li Xue, a comedian from Girona who is very active on social media and involved in campaigns such as Casa Nostra, Casa vostra, which drew attention to the fact that more than a million Catalans who have migrated are denied the right to vote.
To close the event, Dj Hajar, originally from Melilla, will strike the final note with a vinyl set that blends the most rhythmic sounds of Arabic and Latin music.
Bar service will be provided courtesy of Cornèlia.
