Decidim: from zero to hero

Decidim is a citizen participation platform, based on free and secure technology, with all democratic guarantees. It stands out for its implementation both locally and globally: from the City Council of Barcelona, Helsinki, or Mexico City, to initiatives such as SomEnergia, LaFede, or FAVB. At Canòdrom, we offer a training course of four sessions on Decidim aimed at technical staff responsible for managing a participation platform with Decidim, participation techniques, or those in charge of managing and administering a Decidim instance with an applied, practical, and problem-solving approach, from a basic and introductory level. We will explain the participatory spaces and components, the functioning, and the potential of the platform. Democracy has never been so real.

Session 1: Introduction. Learn the basic concepts and first steps of administration.

Session 2: The assemblies. Create participation spaces and set up the first actions.

Session 3: Participatory processes (1). Prepare calls and collect proposals.
Wednesday, May 14, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Margarita Salas Room.

Session 4: Participatory processes (2). Manage, evaluate, and accept (or reject) proposals.
Wednesday, May 21, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Margarita Salas Room.

By actively participating in this training, you will receive a certificate of completion.
