SPECULATIVE URBAN FUTURES: Dynamic Paths

The project, co-funded by Erasmus+, aims to develop new pedagogical tools and speculative design methodologies to rethink urban environments in order to mitigate existing environmental devastation. Within this framework, a methodology has been developed to foster the proliferation of future imaginaries through a Situation Room format. From the first iteration of this methodology, carried out in 2024, speculative urban scenario proposals emerged to inspire present-day design challenges. In this second iteration, proposed within the framework of the exhibition “How to Design a Revolution: The Chilean Path to Design” held at the Disseny Hub Barcelona, we are seeking participants to rethink spatial design through movement, in a Situation Room session with Motion Capture suits, to explore intergenerational coexistence.
