They remember that the Canòdrom served as a reference point to locate the neighborhood of El Congrés: \"in those days taxis didn't have GPS, they went by sight. Sometimes, you were, how should I say, at Plaza España, and you said 'Sant Andreu' and they didn't know if it was Sant Andreu de la Barca or Sant Andreu del Palomar or Sant Andreu of whatever. My husband always said: to the Canòdrom Meridiana and everyone knew where it was.
