Description (English)

Games are a very powerful tool to generate interest around interreligious and intercultural dialogue. In this session, ArsGames presents the conclusions of the project Technoludic Approaches to Interreligious Dialogue, which aims to make visible the challenges and potentialities of games, both analog and digital, when promoting open conversations about religion.

The session introduces a participatory process in the form of situated ethnography of different groups representing the religious diversity of Barcelona. It also presents a report that includes some research on the representation of religion and religions in video games. In addition, we review some gamified dynamics to promote the interest and value of interculturality and interreligious dialogue located in the city.

    Organized by ArsGames.
