For almost two years, a team of journalists from Catalonia and Colombia have researched Colombia’s armed conflict, its memory, and the role of women regarding peacebuilding. The result is a transmedia project that explains the conflict through a documentary and ten biographies combining audiovisuals, photographs and writings that you can also find on the Internet.

In this session, we present the Berracas project with their authors and experts, as well as analyze the communication and journalistic shift from the introduction of new digital technologies. Berracas is analyzed as a brilliant example of new narratives and transmedia journalistic production, in defense of Human Rights.
