Game jam Truth, Lies & Democracy

Fake news, disinformation, and misinformation pose a serious threat to democracy. That's why we challenge the European gaming community to fight against so-called fake news. Truth, Lies & Democracy is a live streaming experience and activist game jam bringing together the European gaming community to defend democracy and combat fake news.

Three local teams and four European teams will participate in a 3-day game jam from May 17th to 19th at Canódrom - Ateneu de Innovació Digital y Democràtica to develop video games and interactive proposals focusing on fake news. Prominent professionals from the gaming, technology, politics, and communication industries will provide talks and mentorship.

• Starting May 17h, 5:30 PM: Follow the gam jam via streaming.

• May 19th, 6:00 PM: Public display of the video games at Canòdrom.
