Let’s celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day with a day full of inspiration and learning! In this meeting, we will explore the opportunities that technology offers for girls, the tools to break barriers, and how to achieve a more equitable and inclusive digital transformation. We will be joined by representatives from organizations like Femdevs and Femcoders Club, who will share their experiences and projects.
At the same time, girls aged 8 to 13 will be able to participate in a **Scratch Programming Taster, where they will learn to create games, animations, and interactive stories in a creative way. If you’ve ever wanted to try programming, this is your chance to start!
Talk - International Girls in ICT Day
We will talk with representatives from various entities in the tech sector at Canòdrom to discuss the inequalities and discrimination that still persist, but also to explore the opportunities and tools available to bridge these gaps. Our conversation will focus on how to boost female participation and achieve a more equitable and democratic digital transformation.
We will have the participation of organizations like Femdevs, Femcoders Club, and other collectives working for gender inclusion and equity in technology.
This activity offers a space to share knowledge, experiences, and projects, as well as to discuss the future of the tech sector from a feminist and inclusive perspective.
