How do we use artificial intelligence in cultural projects? What are the ethical implications? And what open-source tools are available to us? This series combines critical thinking, situated conversations, and hands-on learning around generative AI applied to different areas of digital creation.

First session: AI and ethics (Friday, January 9, 10PM to 2PM) Fabra i Coats

We open the series with a masterclass at 10 AM with Taller Estampa, who will provide a historical review of artificial intelligence from a critical thinking perspective. This will be followed by a four-way roundtable on AI and ethics: potentials, dangers, challenges, and opportunities. The goal? To publish a collective manifesto on generative AI and cultural rights, inspired by initiatives like the Manifiesto Arte es Ética.

12 PM to 2 PM - Roundtable Karma Peiró will moderate the discussion between Joan Rosés, Magda Polo, Carme Puche, and Judith Membrives i Llorens.

CONTENT

  • Ethical dilemmas and social and environmental impacts.
