Create your visual novel

Do you want to create your visual novel from scratch? In this 10-session course you will learn to make narrative and interactive video games with your own style. You will design bold characters, create dialogues, compose music, draw scenes and build a story that is yours.

But not any story! This course is part of a doctoral research by the UOC's GAME group focused on educating about stereotypes. During the sessions, we will explore how visual novels can question discrimination and imagine fairer future societies. The goal is that your work has a real impact and generates awareness to those who play it.

At the end of the course, you will have published your first visual novel and you will know how to create interactive narratives that educate about the most prevalent discriminations today, without the need to be a programmer or an artist.
