The 1962 Snowfall in Catalonia was a historic snowfall event that occurred on Christmas Day in 1962 and affected all of Catalonia, especially the central coast and pre-coastal areas. It is considered the most significant snowfall of the 20th century in this region. The person on the left is Mariano Carcassona, the donor's father. The person on the right is the neighbor. And yes, the neighbor we deduce took this other photograph. Since we don't know the approximate location, we place it generically in the Congrés Eucarístic neighborhood.
