In this second meeting, we will explore how open data can be a key tool to combat fake news and improve the quality of the information we consume. We will also discover the innovative ideas from students participating in the Hackathon “Unmasking the Truth: Tackling Fake News Together,” driven by the European university alliance EUTOPIA.

It will be a space to connect with journalists, social media experts, civil society organizations, and open data specialists to generate real proposals that strengthen informational transparency. If you are concerned about disinformation and want to see how open data can be part of the solution, this event is for you!

Organized by: Canódromo Technical Office and the Barcelona Municipal Data Office.
