Where does a city start? Maybe because of the tiles we step on. Or by the cables below. Or because of the data that is generated each time we open an app to take a scooter or a bicycle. Cities are much more than buildings. They are infrastructures, networks, decisions about who can inhabit where and how.
In this first session, we want to open questions. How does the climate crisis affect the way we live in cities? And invisible digital infrastructures, what do they have to do with it? Gemma Barricarte will explain what contemporary cities hide and show. Radical Data and Elii will share experiments in urban spaces where technology and concern for the environment intersect.
