Barcelona-Madrid: two ways of being a metropolis

Barcelona and Madrid are metropolises. How do they face the metropolitan dimension? How do they plan for growth? How do they relate to their territories? The answers are very different.

In this second session of the Barcelona/Madrid 2050 dialogue series, the aim is to counterbalance how the two cities are tackling the metropolitan dimension, through a conversation between planning officials and a subsequent round-table discussion with representatives of institutions and organisations from the Barcelona and Madrid metropolitan areas.
