Decidim is a platform for citizen participation, open and safe technology, with all the democratic guarantees. It stands out for its implementation in both local and global terms: from Barcelona City Council, Helsinki or Mexico City, to initiatives such as Som Energia, LaFede or the FAVB.
At the Canòdrom we propose a four-session training on Decidim for technicians in charge of managing a participation platform with Decidim with an applied, practical and problem-solving approach, from a basic and introductory level. We will explain the participatory spaces and components, the operation and potential of the platform. Democracy had never been so real.
Session 1: Introduction. Get to know the basic concepts and initial administration steps. November 4th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
Session 2: Assemblies. Create spaces for participation and configure initial actions within them. November 13th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
Session 3: Participatory Processes (Part 1). Prepare announcements and gather proposals. November 20nd, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
